Market carte menu

Our weekly changing Market carte menu represents fantastic value as it is run in the quieter times of restaurant service the price does not reflect the quality of the dishes as many of them are tested on this menu before going onto the a'la carte menu.

Starter

  • Choice of homemade soups
  • Warm salad of baby pears, blue cheese and rocket
  • Steak and ale pot pie with puff pastry lid
  • Deep-fried scampi with aioli

Main Course

  • Lamb stuffed with Camarthenshire cheese, herbs and lamb mince served on pesto dressed salad
  • Whole baked rainbow trout with prawns and asparagus
  • Creamed polenta with sautéed mushrooms and spinach
  • New to the set menu is the choice of any of the traditional pub main courses
